COVID-19 Memo
We’re happy to announce that Air Wave Heating and Cooling has been recognized as an essential service by the Government of Ontario. Because of this, we remain open to serve you through these difficult times. Call us now at 519-821-9283 for any HVAC emergency that you may have!
Your health and safety is our top priority. At this time, we will remain open and functioning. We believe our services are essential. If you are in need of our expertise, please do not hesitate to call us. We’re here for you when you need us. As this situation is unfolding, we are constantly monitoring the position of the Government. Currently, the Government is stating that the risk to the general population is low (see first webpage link below). We will continue to keep an eye on the situation and will let you know if anything changes.
Public health is recommending that you self isolate after travelling outside of the country for 14 days. Public health is also recommending that you monitor yourself for symptoms of the coronavirus which include: fever, cough and difficulty breathing. If you have travelled outside of the country or have these symptoms, please contact us to cancel your appointment, 519-821-9283, info@airwave.ca.
As per WHO and Public Health, we recommend:
- Washing hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
- Coughing/sneezing into a flexed elbow
- Avoiding touching your face with unwashed hands
- Staying home if you feel unwell
- Encouraging team members and vendors to stay home if sick
- Social distancing (swap a handshake for a friendly (Air) Wave!)
What we are doing to keep you safe:
- Wiping down ALL surfaces
- Hand washing before and after every appointment
- Monitoring ourselves for any signs and symptoms of coronavirus or influenza
- There are certain products such as UV Filter light and HEPA filters that increase the quality of air and kill airborne bacteria in your home or business. If you’d like to know more, please contact us.
